Peer Review Process

All papers submitted to ACSJSE will undergo peer-review by two independent reviewers. Acceptance will be granted when both the reviewers give recommendations for acceptance.

The Chief Editor assess each paper and decide whether its topic and content are appropriate and aligns with the scope of ACSJSE. The article that doesn’t meet minimum criteria will be returned to the author. After the initial-review, ACSJSE Editors will select reviewers based on their  field of expertise. A minimum of two reviewers will review each article under a double-blind peer review where both the reviewers and the authors are kept unknown. Reviewers are requested to evaluate the article depend on their originality, clarity, novelty, significance, completeness and  research contribution. Reviewers can choose any of the recommendations like Accept, minor revisions, major revisions required, , decline submission. Reviewers are requested to finish their review within 2-4 weeks.

After collecting the reviewers’ reports, the Editors will make a final decision of the paper where it is accepted or sent to the authors to carry out the corrections marked by the reviewers. A revised article should be re-submitted within fifteen days of the decision. It will return to the original reviewers for evaluation. The review process may take 2 to 3 weeks depending upon the cycles of review required before the article is finally accepted. After this detailed review process, if an article is finally accepted, the Publisher and Editorial Board will take the decision in which issue that article will be published; and it will be informed to the corresponding author of the manuscript.
